SEPTEMBER
September 3 -Parent Roundtable at FPCK
Parent Roundtable at FPCK upstairs starting just after the Troop meeting begins (~7:15pm).  This will be a great opportunity to ask questions about the calendar events, new MB sessions, Patrol leadership roles, upcoming activities or just compare notes on what to pack and how to make Scouting easier for parents & Scouts.  We know you are busy, but we are condensing these parent meetings so they only occur once a month.  We hope you can make it and think you will get a lot out of them.

September 8 - Equipment Clean-up Day at 9 am!

Equipment Clean-up Day at 9 am!  Before we can head out on troop outings, we always need to be prepared.  This includes making sure our Troop and Patrol gear is cleaned & repaired.  Therefore, I encourage all Scouts to attend this weekend's Equipment Day.  Although we will start at 9am, finish time will depend on the quantity and quality of helpful Scouts.  We will meet at our trailer storage location (see Troop website under Documents/Maps for directions).  Here is a direct link to the directions:

September 21 – Wilderness Survival at Martin Creek Lake SP with PLC at the Lake.

Wilderness Survival at Martin Creek Lake SP with PLC at the Lake.  This will be an exciting time with opportunities for Scouts to experience several survival skills in the wilderness.  There are several challenges and activities planned that will keep Scouts having fun throughout the weekend.  You don’t want to miss this experience!  Parents – We always need drivers and could use your help to take Scouts and pull the trailer.  Please sign up at the Troop meeting before the campout.  We will meet at FPCK at 6pm and leave at 6:30pm.  Don’t be late!

September 24 – Court of Honor at FPCK starting at 7pm with charity food drive

Court of Honor at FPCK starting at 7pm with charity food drive.  This is when several rank advancements, MB’s, and other recognition will be given to the Scouts for all of their achievements over the Summer and Spring months!  Please try to attend this event.  It is a very special occasion to recognize the hard work and special achievements that our Scouts and Troop has accomplished.  Friends and family are welcome to attend.  Since this is a food drive, please bring some canned goods for us to deliver to a needy organization nearby.
